Carrie is album seller because she sings country. Country fans tend to buy album (old people)

LMD doesn't feel dated to me at all, there are electronic elements that make the song more modern even though it's pop-rock (which as a genre is dated), and it has the most memorable chorus on the album, it's radio gold, ect.

I agree, I think she needs to release a ballad single on top of LMD. However, I think honestly would underperform on radio. I think TWIO is a MUCH better choice, it has powerful lyrics, it's centered around the theme of empowerment, and it's more of a power ballad similar to BOY.
