It's self-explanatory. Other singers get wide radio support and their singles are *****d by Top 40 radio. Many people on ATRL claim that PCD's music was more successful than Nicole's solo work because it was better, but is Don't Cha and When I Grow Up really better than her solo work? Not really. It's just those songs were spoon fed to everyone and they've heard enough to like it.

I have to agree for a big part with Inverted. Nicole never gets a fair chance and the huge support PCD got, yet songs she intended for her solo stuff like WIGU, IHTP and stuff became hits because radio played them and they were everywhere. While if Nicole released them people would go on about how weak the songs would be, sadly.

Nicole's solo stuff would have been embraced as if it was gold if it was released under the name "PCD" yet when Nicole releases something solo people go on about the fact how "weak" the material is.

I bet if Nicole would still have been with PCD that KL would have been named as an amazing album and would have been a few times platinum already, yet people still try to brag that her material is still not strong enough, while it could be easily named stronger than the PCD stuff, it is just not so driven by the "sassy but classy" PCD image.

Same could be said about her, people always go on and on that she has no charisma or not that star quality, yet people "believed" in her when she had those 4 (or 5) other girls behind her, she is still the same woman with the same qualities.

So it is all about the label, while it is the same voice and woman who worked on those tracks
