I agree and just noticed that point of view for the loud sound the album. I see it that way because the message of Born This Way is supposed to be LOUD, hard on, uninhibited, in your face, making a statement. And Electro Industrial 80s Arena Rock House music is just that!
OH ****...I just had a revelation, so in the rolling stone thread RobnYoBank(?) was talking about dissonance and in my humanities class this year we talked about The Rite of Spring, which is a piece by a Russian composer and it caused riots and deaths when it first premiered and and a year it was done again on a different city and it was considered to be a masterpiece. So is Born This Way a modern Rite of Spring...I see people appreciating it more now after it has had time to marinate in people's minds. This could be far off but just a thought
That hipster review of Born This Way really brought down the score. It would have probably been a few points higher.
Also, I think we should prepare ourselves for Born This Way to make more lists like this. It just screams cult classic (somebody mentioned this earlier) and will easily become one of her most iconic eras. People will look back on it, and it'll just epitomize everything about Gaga. This will be her signature album, whether you like it or not.

It was ****ing idiotic. Instead of reviewing the damn album, they rate how much they like her as a person and as an image, and then make up some wordy metaphorical **** to explain the 0 they gave her, all the while NEVER talking about the quality of the album. And they used sarcasm throughout the "review" in an attempt to make themselves look "witty". It was probably some stuck up snob who thinks they're better than everyone else.
