I don't think it's the actual wait for new music that's the problem, it's the wait for NEWS about new music. we're impatient, but I think we've all agreed that we can wait a long time for new music, especially if that means that she's just taking her time to make an awesome record. BUT - we have become so accustomed to being let in on the process and experience of making an album (through interviews, Twitter, Facebook, etc.), that it's really strange that she's been working on the album for a while now and we really don't know anything about it.
that's what frustrates me. we don't have anything to discuss in her base because we've gone over hypothetical release dates, singles, tracklists, album titles, producers, etc. etc. for hundreds of pages.....we don't have anything real to discuss! and in the age of social media, we're just not used to that. I'm used to artists teasing us with lyrics on Twitter and producers tweeting about songs and insiders spilling info.....we just haven't gotten any of that.
and so the wait continues nothing we can do about it

Just stop. When people will hear the new single on the radio they'll be like "oh a new Kesha song". All she need is radio airplay and with WA and WHYB being Perry and Rihanna's last singles from their eras they'll jump on the new Kesha track.

Looks like if anything, we will have some competition with P!nk... It would be amazing if these two collabed... But since we didnt hear anything, it probably didn't happen... I just wish kesha speeds it up a little more.. how done is she??? So many questions unanswered

Ke$ha has always claimed she doesn't like the internet (cause it scares her) and she never watched tv, so maybe we don't hear **** because she is never on the internet (except for that random, pointless tweet now and then.)
I really wanna know whats going on in the studio right...
oh to be a fly on the wall

Thats true... She is kinda old school-ish... I just wish that more info is known... it has to be her/rca requesting everyone to be quiet :/

Exactly this. RCA and her are trying to play it safe. At this rate, she's recorded enough songs to have a full album. According to my source (please TRY to believe me on this one, I wouldn't lie about it), she was giving RCA too many non-radio friendly rock songs/ballads, and most of them got rejected. I think t least 3 of her wayne songs got rejected.
Thats why she's in the studio with Luke right now. They need to make a "safe" album. Think of it like Ke$ha's "Teenage Dream" (although I doubt she'll have as big of an era as that). They want the album full of guaranteed #1's, so they don't have to do much promo, etc.
So if you're going to blame anyone, PLEASE don't blame her. She's trying to make the perfect record for us animals, but RCA is just the worst at restricting (Look at Britney)

I actually believe this. I remember RCA made Xtina do electro pop and Britney do generic music when that's the exact opposite of what they wanted.

I really thought that Dr.Luke posted a snippet of ''Supernatural'' because they wanna hype the first single, but 2 weeks later...

They've done it to Kelly and Avril, too (i.e., influence an album's sound to the point where the final product ends up becoming a total departure from what the artist had originally wanted).
I wish we were in the '90s and she could put out any type of music she pleased, and there'd likely still be an audience for it. It seems as though just about every genre flourished in that decade -- grunge, rap, bubblegum pop, electronic dance, ska punk, R'n'B, country, nu-metal, trip hop, etc. Today's mainstream scene seems so one-dimensional in comparison.
But it's up to artists like K$ to change that, so I really want this new album to be unique and exciting. I want **** pop.

Then again, you could argue what he's doing now is similar to that of "Domino". They teased the snippet a MONTH before the single came out

Honestly... if the cockpop sound she was going for was great, it is still making the album. I am glad most wayne coyne songs are getting axed.. he is too out there for them to be on the album.. I still hope that fan fave snippet he gave will still make the album!
