They weren't planning on continuing the series so they couldn't have known to have shown a scene.

Aang had mastered 3 elements during the season 2 finale. His earth bending skills showed no signs of improvement in season 3 compared to it. His water bending was excellent, and Air was something he already had down. He was a FORCE to be reckoned with even during that time.

As you could see, Katara took down about half of those earth benders with her surf move, yes she can be compared to those earthbenders cause she was a good water bender as well.

And once again, the earthbenders came in wayyyy after Azula and Katara were done fighting which is irrelevant to the discussion at hand. And gurl that was not one hundred earthbenders.

Actually I don't think Aang mastered Earthbending just yet. In season 3, right before the finale Zuko said that Aang hasn't mastered Firebending, and Toph is overheard as saying his Earthbending could use a little work as well

I think I saw a scan of one page. I heard they aren't that great, a little cheesy and a little predictable. However, it does explain somethings. I don't think the final part came out though. All I know is that Toph started up some sort of training school to teach people how to metal bend and that there is some sort of Zuko/Mai relationship drama.

And there's a reason Azula and Katara never fought that much. The queen had her eyes set on the prize that is AANG the AVATAR not some water bender. I see you continue to ignore my receipts of the Aang gang running off from Azula though. One-on-one or not, when they were running from her they ALL knew she was stronger than them. Point blank.

well I'm gonna answer that with this THEY RAN AWAY FROM ZUKO TOO they were escaping from someone most of the series, I don't see how running away from Azula is any different
and as you say LET'S STICK TO WHAT WE SAW, Aang NEVER interfered when Azula and Katara where fighting, when he did that earthbending thing at the beginning and the wave that saved them was because they were BOTH being attacked, not only Katara, I never saw Aang rescuing Katara during that fight
