Yes, a lot of things connect back to Princess Diana.
1.) The post was written in french. Princess Diana was travelling in Paris when she died.
2.) White roses were Princess Diana's favorite flowers.
3.) Gaga has said that her next album will be about the decay of a pop star and Princess Diana is a perfect example of this. She died because of fame.
4.) Gaga's recent wardrobe has been very regal and at times, she has looked a lot like Princess Diana.
It also fits with the trilogy of fame. The rise to fame, letting it consume you, then ultimately killed by fame.
Also, BTW was just an album for the fans and has nothing to do with the trilogy.
