Regarding the off topic warnings earlier today, we realize there is some confusion about what is and what isn't allowed in the Fan Base threads. It's always been a bit of a grey area, because while we do allow some off topic conversation, we don't want the threads to become too spammy. I suggest keeping the focus on One Direction while we work out a clearer set of rules for these threads.

I think that sounds good, seeing as thats why we're here anyway! However, I understand that spamming and off-topic can be annoying, but I don't think saying hello/goodbye and asking a member how they are should really be warnable.

I agree a hundred percent with this. A hello/goodbye/ how are you is point worthy yet talking about other artists in let's say a 1D thread is allowed? You can literally apply it to everything.

The Jonas Brothers did progress and mature. That's actually what made them slump. Fickle teen fans weren't there for the mature bros, and more mature fans just passed it off as 'another JoBros teeny-bopper album'. I think that's a main reason why Nick and Joe went solo. Apparently, now they're going to try to come back since boybands are 'back' though.
