I agree to your previous post that she should at least experiment in alternative & rock sounds, but not all the way with such format.
Country-Pop did not work this time because, there was nothing at par with Love Story or You Belong With Me, it could've been Sparks Fly, Haunted and Speak Now but what we got was The Story of Us. 
The 2nd bolded part, purely subjective. I can disagree and say otherwise. I still listen to Mine and You Belong With Me as if listening to them for the first time (with Our Song as well).

I was kidding about her turning into Alt & Rock . and I told you so .
Speak Now surely slays , but there are songs that you get tired of for a while . ( not always though )
I'm just saying her debut worked better as an album .
Then why are you pissed that Sparks Fly didn't smash on Pop ? it did well on Country and that should be fine for you .
And I didn't say it is the definition of great music . but we all want Taylor to last in the industry , don't we ?
