I agree to your previous post that she should at least experiment in alternative & rock sounds, but not all the way with such format.
Country-Pop did not work this time because, there was nothing at par with Love Story or You Belong With Me, it could've been Sparks Fly, Haunted and Speak Now but what we got was The Story of Us.
The 2nd bolded part, purely subjective. I can disagree and say otherwise. I still listen to Mine and You Belong With Me as if listening to them for the first time (with Our Song as well).
Speak Now still slays for me
A grammy award for album of the year and hit singles are not definition of great music to me.
