When you take into consideration that Britney's 10xP albums were in 1999-2000 while Usher's was in 2004 his decline is a lot more alarming imo.

Looking 4 Myself was his best album since Confessions. I don't know why people want another Confessions or 8701, when that sound would be dated now and sound terrible.

I bet even if he did bring another Confessions, it would flop SUPER hard and no one would even say it was like Confessions. It's just the way it is I guess.

This album did have decent promo. Scream was performed at E3, Billboard Music Awards, SNL, & Today.

I'm honestly really surprised by these sales. I knew it was gonna do less than RvR, but not this much

Right. I don’t know what is Cap10Planet comparing, since it's one thing to not be able to match your best sales and it happens to everyone, it’s natural, but it’s another thing to sell around 10-15% of what you sold in your peak era with the following album, which happened to Usher with “Here I Stand.”

he's doing a surprising amount of UK promo for the album this week. i'd have thought he'd be in the US promoting it at every available opportunity

Nicki sold 253K and she's still selling consistently.

Anyway, Usher's album is really good and I was expecting more.

Britney was still certified Platinum with 3 Top 10 singles. Let's wait and see what Usher can do before you start getting overconfident.

She dropped too fast though. She fell out the top 10 too early and she should have sold 80K+ for a couple weeks now, but she's at 11K I think.

I wonder if this will affect Justin Bieber, or maybe his massive fanbase can save him
