I think the only label I'll be 100% happy with is Interscope. DefJam would be my second choice, but their roster is basically all urban artists - and while I'm glad Miley's going for an urban sound this era, I don't want it to be her definitive genre.

But Justin Bieber and Rihanna are also with Def Jam and you can't say they are really urban.
Columbia Records would also be Ok I guess.

I guess. But if Miley ever goes back to her more pop/rock/country sound from her earlier eras, I can't see that being distributed by DefJam. The key to her having long-term success is the fact that she can do so many different things, and I'd hate to see her be tied down musically.

I can't help but feel like some of these figures (especially the albums) are outdated though. Rolling Stone lead me to believe Time of Our Lives sold 1.7 million, and I would have thought Breakout would be a little closer to 2x platinum by now. But oh well. Some girls can't even get a platinum album so I'm not bothered.
