Her debut album was actually an amazing record, one of the very best contemporary gospel records in recent memory. Classic. Up there with the best of Mary Mary and Kirk Franklin.
That said, "Unexpected", although it hasn't aged well, was a great record when it came out. They missed a huge opportunity not re-releasing something from it when she was on UK's Dancing With The Stars. She needs to stop with all this Broadway foolery and really push her music career.
Hopefully she'll do something Christian but with crossover appeal and get some actual urban/RHY spins. If MaryMary who are old, fat and annoying can do it, why not queen Tenitra?
