I just realized... If Sparks Fly, Dear John, Story of Us and Innocent are all about Mayer...
In the order of the tracklist, you start with a crush (Sparks Fly), a break up (Dear John), post-break up (SOU) and end with forgiveness (Innocent). If Ours and Superman had been on the standard album, they would have been between Sparks Fly and Dear John.
*I still don't think Innocent is about him, but it fit the theory.
I hope if Carrie ever changes her label, she goes to something like Capitol.
