Well, there they MUST have known it already. They must have, as her management also made up the worst excuse ever... Those candy bracelets caused it according to them. Demi said in an interview after rehab: "Needless to say, who told the media that is not with us anymore... I mean, she's alive"

This was not that long before she went to rehab, so possibly, but I still think we shouldn't go around yelling she used coke all the time. Demi said she did use drugs sometimes, she admitted that, but she also said she was lucky that THAT never got out of hand.

Now this might be damage control obviously, but she might also be telling the truth

For me too, and I didn't even have a fan twitter account yet and all...
But it was a horrible day for me, and I didn't understand why cause I was like:
"I never met her, I only know of her existance for like 4-5 months, this happens to celebrities all the time. WHY AM I SO UPSET?!"
