So "Stop the World" is cause they were legally not allowed to date. Demi was 16, he was 22 I think.
"Remember December" was about his friends telling him it's wrong and that they should stop it, and that he should remember what they had in december and not listen to his friends/band.

Demi was also found to tweet seemingly random numbers sometimes when she was 16. People eventually found out she was tweeting the amount of days till she turned 18 and they were legal...
