Kimbra has far more control, range, smoother vibrato, and doesn't strain nearly as much.

Proper logic. You cannot say one is vocally better than someone else because the "character" of their voice. If you're going to compare them vocally, do it correctly. Personally liking ones voice more than the other isn't how to do it.
