I'm thinking about requesting it on Rhythmic stations but do they really play this? What genre of songs do they play actually?
Rhythmic is usually a cross between pop and hip hop/RnB. I'd say do it and give it a shot. They played Someone Like You and Set Fire to the Rain and made it really high on their charts.

Yeah. I saw some of the station playlists and they actually have a lot of pop songs. But didn't Katy's singles charted low in there? All I know is E.T charted with the Kanye remix.

Yea. If I recall correctly, ET was her highest charting there. Cali Gurls and TD may have peaked high too, but I wasn't following charts until mid-late 2011
so given last week's WA addiction on iTunes, i'd predict if it enters the top ten, from around 9-10
most likely it won't enter the top ten, but maybe around the mid 10s to early 20s. radio and streaming will definitely drag its sales down. unless someone has the numbers for streaming (if that's even trackable ).

We aren't able to track streaming as of yet
It'll prObably enter top 20-25 on billboard this week, and maybe scrape outside of the top ten next week.
it's actually a concern, i mean do they take a peak in people's profiles or.... Big Brother **** if they are.
There's onDemand streaming, which tracks activity on places like Spotify, Rhapsody, and other music streaming services out there. Then there's video streaming, which tracks activity on YouTube and Yahoo.

All her singles usually go top 20 there. California Gurls went #4. Like you said E.T. went #1. Which made her like only one of four pop girls to go #1 there. And by pop girl, I mean a white girl, because that seems to be the radio's definition of a pop girl.

Wow that sounds like a pretty big feat. Anyway who are the four pop girls? And what is the name of the chart for rhythmic on Billboard? I can only find R&B/Hip-hop there.

The RnB/Hip Hop chart on billboard measures radio AirPlay from Urban, UrbanAC and Rhythmic stations
