Her next single needs to do something, if not I don't see any hope for this album tbh.
If her label is smart they release good EP's for the next singles, get some pushfeatures on those EP's and get some highprofile remixes (Guetta, Afrojack, Dave Aude), if radio doesn't plays her she needs to push herself everywhere where she can, also with performances, if the big shows don;t want her, she has to get on every alternative there is.
And her label need to do soemthing with the other markets, I mean they release her singles in some europe country's but they basically do nothing with it
That's what I thought. Ballads and vocals shift albums. XF. No re-release is needed, just right single choices, also a re-release could make her a loss maker. I don't want a 'dropped' scenario
So Daylight Robbery, What Money Can't Buy, Oh La La and then Between The Sheets.
There's no chance of 6 singles being released with the way things are going. What Money Can't Buy would flop as a single. I don't particularly like Daylight Robbery but I would be here for the other 2 songs being released.
They don't need to be expensive though. The vidz need inspiration. DR and WMCB can easily be cheap. WMCB needs to sell albums though. An XF performance can get dire songs into the top 20. LIG flopped and nothing can be worse than that sales wise, right? Her voice can make it sell.
Alex needs a televised performance of "What Money Can't Buy" on the biggest show she can book at the moment. The public needs to be reminded of how talented she is.
They need to work on a re-release for the fall in time for an X Factor performance of a brand new single by a big name producer.
To be perfectly honest, if I had to choose the singles it would go..
1. Sitting On Top of the World
2. Love You That Much
3. Between the Sheets
4. What Money Can't Buy
5. Heartbreak on Hold
The order of singles would tell a story. She finds her inner identity on "Sitting On Top of the World", discovers her true love on "Love You That Much", experiences true intimacy on "Between the Sheets", is heartbroken on "What Money Can't Buy" and fights against the heartbreak and celebrates on "Heartbreak On Hold".
I did. It would be do able with LIG's sales alone. She's known and all and the fans can get her there, but it's next week and the month after that worries me...that's the job of radio
