This is the second time I've won a rate where the second place spot got nabbed by the most recent hit.
But also the second time it's totally deserved it.
Overproduced, banal, cliche and crowded like a football field. It should've probably been on a Jay Z album.
From a methed-out Fergie croaking about unemployment, to Alicia Keys wailing like a deaf cat and KiD CuDi putting on his best Pitchfork-friendly drawl, and the clumsy piano outro, it's a disaster.
The only thing worse than Kanye pretending to be interested in his own song, is that limp excuse for a chorus, at which Rihanna flashes her breasts repeatedly in the video, hoping no one notices the tuneless song has no hook.
Unsurprisingly, a Record Of The Year nom follows shortly after, and hipster teenagers all over America rush to put it as their Facebook Statuses. .
