I love how R1 failed...she topped the chart by a mile People always say Alex is fake...it's sad. I don't see it, but then a lot of people over analyse personality in the UK. Do you think people actually listen to Alex? Because I don't think they do. If you listen to what she says, she speaks a lot of sense.

Overall, it's actually a really great record which is kind of surprising considering I don't think too much of the singles. The problem is, it's forgettable as it doesn't showcase much originality at all. There isn't much substance to it. But if you put that factor aside, you can look at it as a collection of hot sweaty club jams. Some of these tracks **** so hard, and I'm dead serious. She needs to take this to Europe at least. There is not one bad track on this album.

It's difficult to tell where this album's gonna end up until we hear back from the midweeks. 70% of our album sales still come from physicals, so they can't really be tracked on iTunes.

I'm hoping for a Top 20. She then needs to work on an EP to be promoted and released around the UK X Factor live shows- totally safe Adele-esque ballad material, just to win back her popularity. It's sad that one of my faves has been reduced to this.

Its really sad that the UK wants her to fail, I dont see why all these radio stations and the general public dislike her so much. She should have branched herself over to the US long time ago, they would appreciate her more there.

It's sad that there are women beaters, racists, sexists, drug abusers, criminals, adulterers, amateur **** stars, and just generally repulsive individuals who get their music played, even if they're not remotely talented and if their songs are crap, but Alex gets snubbed by radio stations just because people find her personality annoying.

Sadly, I don't think she'd get anywhere in the US. She'd be like a black version of Dev trying to keep up with the bigger forces in female pop such as Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Katy Perry and Kesha. It would be like the Ciara situation. She is lagging behind her peers who in turn can be considered as Beyonce and Rihanna. Her music is generic and not original so why would the US embrace it? Why would they embrace it when so many pop chicks over there are doing it already and better?

She clearly did a 90% dance album because dance music is hot and she thought people would eat it up. But sometimes a songs success isn't just based on the music. It is also based on the artist behind the music, as well as their likeability. If Rihanna released 'Let It Go', it would have been a top 5 hit. The UK is her biggest market, she has a massive following here and radio would have got right behind it. The UK is Rihanna's territory. I love Rihanna by the way but had she released 'Heartbreak On Hold', I'd have bitched about it as well.

The thing is, Rihanna doesn't put out dance albums anyway. She always uses the lead dance single to secure herself those decent first week album sales. When you listen to her albums, you only get two dance tracks on them with the project being dominantly urban. 'Loud' and 'Talk That Talk' followed that same formula. 'GGGB' was her poppiest album but she still switched it up. It is a true representation of what a BRILLIANT pop album should sound like. I just cannot say that about 'Heartbreak on Hold'.
