I just don't get why he's being brought up at all, actually.

What is so hard to understand?

She was disrespected by a member of HOT97 family. It doesn't matter if it was one individual..he was there representing them and he dissed the HEADLINING act. She was the one selling the majority of the tickets. It was disrespectful to not only nicki, but her fans in the audience. He did say he wasn't here for the starship fans, but the "real hip-hop fans."

I'm not even a big nicki fan, but it's not that hard to comprehend. Nicki is in the right on this..

I wish I only would of wasted 1 hour rather than 4.

This whole problem started when Nicki got offended with people calling her pop though.

She has a right to be. Like she still isn't doing hiphop verses and songs? Shes diverse. Deal.

Do you see "sellout" all over Flo Rida videos? Do you see at least two people calling him ugly or man ***** each page on his videos?

That's because Flo Rida positioned himself as a popstar, and doesn't give a **** about hip-hop culture or cred. He's happy with his pop fans.

I can't with her right now. Her gender doesn't make her immune to criticism. Not saying Rosenberg was right, but PLEASE.

Exactly. Gender is not the issue.

[IREPMINAJ]

Rosenberg know better though cause he know if he would've said anything about a male artist that WAS COMING ON THAT STAGE THEY WAS GONNA BUST HIS ***** WIIIIIIIIIIIDE OPEN!

I just don't understand how someone can be so offended by pop when they're so clearly making it. Make no mistake I'm team Nicki on this too but I've never understood her outrage over the pop claims.

Is it over?

Exactly. People who supposedly dont like her are actually listening to a interview that they have to tune in for?

...AZEALIA was on the bill too Nicki, you weren't the only woman! What kinda RUDENESS?

Azealia wasn't on the bill. Performing in the parking lot pre-show doesn't mean being on the main show.

[Kang.]

Someone better put this up on YouTube later, because I missed the first 3/4 of this.

She's making a lot of good points though.

That doesn't mean she's NOT making pop music though. You can't make pop music and get mad at people for calling you pop. Does she want people to just pretend all her pop music doesn't exist when they decide what genres she is?

Hell, in this case they weren't even referring to her as a whole. They were talking about a SONG, Starships. Starships is NOT a hip-hop/rap song. It's eurodance/pop. If she doesn't want people to call it a pop song, she shouldn't have recorded a pop song.

If you guys weren't being so one track minded, you'd realize that gender IS at the root of the issue.
