I actually have this feeling too. 2012 is almost half-gone. Maybe she wants to start fresh and conquer the whole of 2013 from the start. I think she wants perfection on this record. She's taking as much time as she wants.

I could see 2013 happening as well. And perhaps that's better. Maybe she should wait and release the first single next April, to be honest. Especially if the album is full of summer jams.

I'm just finding it harder and harder to believe that the album is done or almost done. I think she's setting completion date goals for herself and just failing to meet them time after time.

Maybe she's struggling to fully develop the sound she wants.

If we don't get any kind of update this month, the single won't come before September. It wouldn't make sense for her to release late in the summer before then.

If we don't get any kind of update by the end of August, the single is coming in 2013. She isn't releasing a late fall / winter lead single. She's a summer/spring artist.

The album will not come during 2013; trust me. And there'd be nothing wrong with releasing a fall single. We R Who We R was released in late October and it was a decent hit on the charts.

I'm giving up for now. There is no point putting a timeframe on it anymore, single or album. When it happens, it happens. We've done the same thing for 5 whole months this year, soon to be 6. It feels like we are literally going around in circles. Although I probably can't help myself, I am going to try and shut up and let her make that damn record so I can be happy whenever it finally decides to come out.
