I thought it was gross at first but now that I found out who I am, I respect it in every way. There still human. Just another type of love, right?

It really depends on the personality. I'm cool with gay people as long as they don't rape me or something. There is one gay person in my grade and he always tries to sit next to me and it's freaking me the hell out (and I generally don't like him because he's annoying and he crapped his pants during a field trip), but if the gay people just act normal, then I'm cool. Any gay person on the internet, I can probably trust unless they're man*****s.
So it really depends for me. So far, I don't really have any gay people that I like in real life, but the people here, sure, I can get along with. Except for the racist alien a.k.a. Froggert.

I'm straight and I have no problem with gay people. My older brother is gay and i love him very much whether he's gay or straight . He will always be my big bro .I wouldn't mind being friends with them they seem cool to hang out with.

What I dislike about gay guys in particular is how fake they are. Nick and I were having this conversation a week or two ago. My arguement is that most gay guys change how they act simply because they are gay-thus being fake.
For example, the lisp....if you did not talk like that BEFORE you "came out" there is no reason to talk like that afterwards. Nick argued that its just a normal lisp that people have, and I rebutted "So you are telling me that it just is a coincidence that 90% of the men in this world with lisps just happen to be gay?"
Your sexuality should not change how you act in public-I dispise those who act feminine because well...they are in fact men, regardless of what you do behind closed doors, you should behave yourself properly in public. There is in my opinion, no reason to start talking like thissssssssssssssssss and calling other guys "girl."
I for example have been called fake by some gay guys because well I enjoy watching ESPN and sports and playing poker and hanging out with my straight friends (I have maybe 2 gay friends). But the fact of the matter is that I have ALWAYS enjoyed these things... I dunno just my rant for the day. I feel that people who dislike gays....are concentrating their dislike at the generalized picture of how the abovementioned people act, and frankly I cant blame them.
I am further made sick by the fact gay guys generally dont like straight guys thinking that they will think they are just hitting on them. Take it from someone who almost exclusively hangs out with "jocks" this is not the case. Conversation with straight guys is far from what gays think its about. Nick for example said "All straight guys talk about is getting ***** blah blah" This type of stereotype is no better than the one straight people may have of gays.
It just angers me to see gay people actually trying to seperate themselves from the rest of society, yet crying foul at the same time for being "dsicriminated" when the fact of the matter can actually be argued to be reverse. Hippocracy at its finest -_-

I used to hate all gay men for mostly reasons and convictions that are not fair or true. (Such as the myth that gay men are more prone to diseases, likely to be killed or die early in life, and are mentally crazy.) During later in life, with discovering + asking about the world I live in (including my religion, the United States gov't, modern-day Culture, etc.), my perceptions about them changed. Now I just take them on a person by person basis as I do with the straight, unsure, and bi. If I dislike a man who is gay (which has happened several times now), it’s due to something else that's not correlated to his sexuality-interest. Besides, I’m currently pals with a few gay women and men; I just accept + respect them as I do with my other friends. And if I truely disliked gay people, I wouldn't be on this site.

I am quite neutral on this. In general, I don't care wut your sexuality is. I treat all fairly and am not prejudice. However, I must say, sometimes, some things that gay people do bother me, such as the "fakeness" mentioned above. So I guess I can say that I am a bit partial to heterosexuals, but not at all completely biased.

I am friends with quite a few gay men. *shrugs* I don't dislike gay people at all because they are gay. If I dislike them, it's because they themselves are asshats.

I have no problem with gay men, lesbian women, bi-people or asexuals. I like them as much as I like heterosexuals - which is basically not much unless you're a good person or trying to be one. So it's the same to me and has nothing to do with sexual orientation.
