Easily. Demetria is already has technical ability that christina never had. You could argue that demetria is already better than christina.
But Christina was way more consistent with her performances. And had way more confidence. Whereas with Demi she's very hit and miss with her performances and sometimes struggles really hard with pitch. But I'm confident that she's gonna be great with a little more experience and training.

I don't think I've ever heard Demi sound this good tbh. She always has pitch problems It's so frustrating because she has so much potential and could possibly be way better than Christina ever was.

You probably have never seen any christina performances from when she was 18-19... That's why. It's a shame because christina has one of the most beautiful natural god given voices ever, and could easily be placed up there with whitney and mariah, but her technique is so GOD DAMN AWFUL and she is easily one of the WORST vocalists in the game. Oversinging and improper belting have totally ruined her voice.

christina does have some good performances and she's amazingly talented but a lot of the time she really over sings. and i'm not just talking about the demi kind of over singing. christina oversings and makes it sound like a crazy different song lol

Demetria is 19, and those performances are simply unbelievable for a 19 year old, and much stronger than the majority of xtinas 19 year old performances.
That is a great performance. Xtina excels when she doesn't oversing and when she sings simpler compositions. She can sing adele like songs easily. But her discography consists of high belts above C5, and many runs, damaging her voice and using improper technique. You can even hear it in that vid, she struggles to hit the higher belts. Christina could never sing don't forget or got dynamite live well.
