Rihanna may not like it, but she's become the public face of violence against women, and what she does in her career is always going to be a lightning rod for discussion about the issue. Honestly, the "Birthday Cake" remix made just as much of a statement about relationship abuse as "Love the Way You Lie"—but not in a good way.
