I brought this up about a week ago, but I'll ask again. Would anyone like to do an all-Kelly play count "competition", if you will? I'll even weight each album and participant's plays to ensure neither old albums nor certainly individuals tip the results one way or another.

Anyone interested?

Well here's the cool part: I'll make each album worth x number of points and distribute the points among the songs on the album (or some similar system). So even if one album has many more plays than the other (because it's older, for example), its higher played songs will still be weighted the same amount of points (and the same for the songs on the lower end).

How about this: The most played song on each album gets one point and the remainder get points based on the percentage of the first (like kworb does it). Each person has their own set of numbers, and then all the songs are thrown together, thus producing a list of all songs.

Or, it could be some combination of both systems. I'm not horribly concerned right now about the methods of calculation. I just care more about compiling a list of participants.

You could estimate the number of plays, I suppose. They wouldn't have to be exact—just in the correct proportion with one another (namely, the songs on one album would need to be estimated relative to one another).
