its got great dubstep verses with a folksy hook! yeah its the common "male rap / female hook" song, but its really different from the usual such collabos!

I love Taylor to the moon and back, I stan so hard for her but BOU is utter trash. the rap meets country thing did not work at all, Taylors part was cute and could have made a good song elaborated and on it's own and BOBs part was good and worked well on it's own but they did not even remotely work well together.
There was nowhere near enough Taylor either so it was just an awkward switch up everytime the chorus came around. I can't listen to the song...it's not up to her standard.
Her best feature will remain Half of My Heart (even though JM is a douche and she is barely in it, they complimented eachother beautifully and the song is flawlessly written)

The problem I have with BOU is that, the whole song feels so FORMULAIC. They could have spiced things up a bit by changing up the second/third chorus. or even placing a typical bridge you would find in a Taylor song some WHERE in the song.
JUST STOP SCOTT

YES!!! *adds to future receipts*
And Scott is on twitter now? Welp. I'll stalk his ass then. But the fact that he's the leader for Wah-Wah team made me worried of an over-hype case like the one happened with Joanne.

He didn't though...she was first signed to Sony for an artist development deal but felt that they were going in the wrong direction for her so she shopped around until she found Scott starting up BMR.

For me, TIBTO was better.
Both of Us, uhm, it's so boring I don't even want to talk about it. If it smashes, well good for them, if it flops, well, their loss for releasing too bland and generic songs on fast-changing taste of the pop market.
She could've just rested. Apparently, maybe why the album hype is under the rock because they want TSOU, BOU, & EO flop legacies to fade away.

yepp sure it is a wierd song when rap meets country, but i dont know! it clicked with me, and i like when it switches from the rap to chorus coz it feels like a roller-coaster-ride song!
but i get that its still a wierd combination so many people won't like it!
i totally respect and understand your opinion! and true, if taylor got to make a whole song with the both of us chorus, it would be pretty good!
maybe a bonus track in album #4, both of us part II

Taylor should have at least a bridge in the track. Anyway, people will either like or don't care about this song. This will not be as memorable as Airplanes.

I don't think Eminem can ever top that song. I am not fond of "rap" songs but LTWYL would have to be one of the greatest rap songs ever. Plus the music video

they evidently tried to make it like airplanes! BOU also has two verses then some wailing towards the end ... but it was just a poor attempt!!! but airplanes was just.. another level!!
i agree, airplanes ***** on it big time! its a great and memorable song btw!

Scott B. is Country music's anti-Christ. I wish that Taylor went to Rounded instead of BMR tbh. They could get a Porter Wagoner for her. And Robert Plant & Alison Krauss could have been her mentors. Not impossible since Liz Rose is Alison's go-to songwriter.
And it would be much easier for me to get insider news

CFC, you will be VERY happy about this:

Then again, she’s distantly related to Porter Wagoner and toured with Charlie Daniels coming up, so she’s seen the other side as well.

honestly if i have to rank the rap/girl hook songs in last 2-3 years, that became successful, i'd say:
LTWYL>>>>airplanes>>>>jay z - forever young >>> the rest(cant think of anymore! )

I tweeted her like crazy, but nothing happened, also my friend said that I was too obsessed with her
so I made a new account to tweet her everyday, but 3 months has left, and you know she said she wanted to be fair to all of her fans, I won't get her reply
