The afro-magic mike is ready to be released at the end of spring. You all msut be wondering how a movie can be so close and without a trailer? Good question!
Using deductive reasoning, I have come to the conclusion that the budget for this movie must be under 2 million dollars. Their has been slim to no press for the movie despite the interest it has peaked. Leaving me to think that thier is no money to promote the film.
The talent pool reaches from low hollywod to (direct to dvd black films) (Yeah you know the ones)
While they do have a release date for theaters, I have to wonder if ti will be available nationwide or limited screening in big cities like L.A. Huston,New York and finally atlanta. Hopefully not, some independet movies can blow up from word of mouth (Spring Breakers) but how hard is it to cut together a 2 min trailer.
