Yes, I did. Hence why I said "Lets have White Men and White Women....". The most liberal white men and women can never sympathize with systematic oppression unless, in the white guys case, it has to do with socioeconomic status or in the case of white women, gender. Yeah, I guess it is a great start to get other white people to listen to to maybe get a gist of what it is they are talking about, but at the same time its something I live on a daily basis and don't need some white guy trying to verify my existence or tell me to "get up and fight back."

ff;; And this is just a case of someone looking to be mad about something. For one, they weren't only talking about minorities, they were talking about poor people in general. Two, they did highlight how it disproportionately affects people of color. He's not trying to verify your existence and he certainly wasn't saying minorities need to get up and fight back. He was saying WE (as a people, not just minorities) need to fight against corrupt government. White people CAN sympathize with systematic oppression, the word you're looking for it 'empathize'. And you don't have to be able to empathize with something to understand what it is and be against it.

You are literally criticizing someone for being on the side of fair & equal treatment
