Man who inspired Sam Smith's album revealed as his manager!
Quote:
Sam Smith's unrequited love is one of his three managers, Elvin Smith.
The 22-year-old singer recently revealed his Grammy-winning album - In the Lonely Hour - was inspired by a man he fell in love with but who didn't feel the same way, and the guy is believed to be the married music executive, according to The Sun newspaper.
Sam said: 'I feel nothing towards him now. I’ll always love him but I’m not in love with him any more. I definitely don’t crease on the floor in pain any more.
'I was the only one in the relationship. It was in my mind and was something I had to get over. I also made the record so that this doesn’t happen again.
'I don’t want to fall in love again with someone who doesn’t love me back.'
Sam and Elvin are now said to be good pals and the 'Stay With Me' hit-maker recently admitted he would never publicly release the mystery man's name out of respect.
He added to the publication: 'It’s really tough to explain. But no, he’s not gay.
'Nothing ever happened between us. I know he loved me too, but not in that way.'
This is him
He was born in 1981
So Sam fell in love with a straight Black guy who was 11 years older than him
