Britney spent only 6 weeks at #1. Why?
On the Hot 100, Britney Spears only spent 6 weeks in total at #1. Why?

Because a lot of her singles werent released as singles.
Crazy, Oops, Sometimes for example would've most likely been Hot 100 #1s, especially Oops.

Christina got her last solo #1 hit 15 years ago. Why?
I really don't understand Christina fans' obsession with Britney.

Cause even in her prime, she wasn't that massive. She had 2 big sellers during the preeteen 2000s age and still couldn't manage even 10wks at #1

She just doesn't have much longevity and her singles are front-loaded.
Scream & Shout was literally her most (or 2nd) successful single despite not hitting #1 due to its longevity.

Her label chose to release limited or no physical copies to stores -- affecting Hot 100 positions but ultimately fueling album sales.
