First Off I am OK!!
Well the other day (Tuesday Feb 26) I was involved in a car accident. We Live in michigan and the snow had let up but then had just started again, and my family wanted to go into town for dinner, so we loaded into my parents jeep, and my father was driving then it was clear until about 1/2 mile before our exit then we seen people almost going off the road, my dad tried to avoid one of them, then we hit the black ice, and we crossed over the median, and hit the tail end of a semi truck. Me and my father had the most injuries I have a broken Shoulder Blade, 5, 6, & 7 vertebrae fracture, luckily no surgery is necessary for me. I just have to spend 3 months in a neck brace. My Father broke his wrist, and got bruised up pretty badly. My Mother has a broken Rib, and hurt her knee. My brother and girlfriend were ok, and they just had cuts. It was a very scary situation, but we all came out alive. Yesterday I was discharged from the hospital, and we went to see the car, perhaps I will post some pics. But we talked to the truck driver, it was a steel carrier, it had tons of steel sheets in it, and we seen we hit the wheel, had we been over to the left or right it could had ended up different. The truck driver told us he was scared to get out of his truck because he thought we were all dead, and it was such force that we threw the entire middle axle out in the woods, thats how hard we hit it. Every one is doing ok, i am recovering I got a handicap sticker coming, and i am taking a few weeks off of work. Right now I am feeling a little stiff but my pain meds are keeping me in good spirits. I am gonna try to stay on top of some the stuff I was doing for ATRL, but I cant make any promises.
