People who try to learn Spanish always complain about why we have to classify everything as male/female, the acute accent ( ´ ) and the grammatical conjugation, hehehe.
^I've always disliked that about the 'Romance languages' (French, Spanish and Italian). For example, I dislike the way the a group of girls with one boy would then be referred to in male terms, the same as a group of boys with one girl. Gender is emphasised in other languages as well though but in broader (but no less sexist) terms or to specific inanimate objects e.g. boats/ships referred to as female. I don't have a problem with the accents though, they tell you how to pronounce a word, so it's almost phonetic.
Good luck Brave, different languages are good skills to have and I'm glad you've got ready help here.
