Glasgow electro-pop trio Chvrches announced their debut studio album, The Bones of What You Believe, which will be released on 23 September 2013 in the UK and on 24 September 2013 elsewhere. This follows the band’s 5 track EP Recover. The album title is taken from a line of the track Strong Hand.
Today they've also released the video for the upcoming single and lead single Gun, out July 15 in the UK. The band's debut British single, The Mother We Share, will receive a US single release .
The group consists of Lauren Mayberry (main vocals, occasionally synths), Iain Cook (synths, vocals) and Martin Doherty (synths, vocals).
