i thought abide by me was on the closing ceremony compilation disk? maybe that was just a live recording im not sure

either way this seems like a label decision to reboost her sales rather than something she chose to do. if she really wanted purely to provide the fans with new music she'd just release a separate EP or save for the next album

i like re-releases

I think releasing an EP is messy

It keeps everything look neat and tiddy.

plus most re-releases have songs done in the album session that didn't make it so it's a way to get rid of older songs so the next album can have.......better ones
