The Beatles' sons to form band?
Quote:
Three sons of The Beatles are keen to form a band, reports claim.
James McCartney, 34, wants to create a second generation of Beatles to follow in the footsteps of his dad Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr.
James told BBC News that Sean Lennon and Dhani Harrison would join the project, while Zak Starkey - son of Ringo - is reluctant.
"I don't think it's something that Zak wants to do," he said. "Maybe Jason [drummer, and one of Starr's other sons] would want to do it. I'd be up for it. Sean seemed to be into it, Dhani seemed to be into it. I'd be happy to do it."
On whether the idea could ever come to fruition, James replied: "Yeah, hopefully, naturally. I don't know, you'd have to wait and see. The will of God, nature's support, I guess. So yeah, maybe."
Paul McCartney last month revealed that the original Beatles were close to reforming on a number of occasions in the decade after their split in 1970.

If this is true, there's some BIG shoes to fill. Good luck to them though
