<1% of Gaga BTWBall tickets in Korea were purchased by teens
Quote:
When Lady Gaga begins her world tour in Seoul on April 27, she’ll be performing to a stadium full of adults.
A South Korean government agency on Thursday decided to raise its age rating for attendance to 18 from 12.
The move is forcing the concert’s promoter to offer refunds to teenagers who bought tickets for the show.
Less than 1% of the roughly 38,000 tickets sold for the show were purchased by teenagers, local media reported.
The show is to be held at the city’s largest venue, Olympic Stadium, which has about 44,000 seats for concerts.
The Korea Media Rating Board, which sets the age limits for concerts, notified the promotion company and a sponsor of the change on Thursday but didn’t state a reason why the show would be considered unsuitable for children under 18.
Internet message boards in South Korea were filled with commenters asking why Lady Gaga’s show was given the age-18 rating when K-pop girl groups that dance provocatively are not.

This is pretty surprising since we always consider the majority of Gaga fans teenagers... But this also means not many tickets will be refunded (People under 18 are banned from going)
They can buy tickets using their parents' account and credit cards you know.
But would that mean that they simply dont allow under aged to buy tickets or they dont allow them to attend the show (?) , meaning there will be an age screening before the show ?
:S confused

Of course there will, so minors have to refund their tickets. Or fake their ID.
They can't attend even if parents are accompanied, so the latter.
Oh wait , that 's insane // are u sure its legit ? I mean , no one has the power to ban your kid from a show since you allow them to attend AND you accompany them..I mean , lol , that is beyond insane..
