Today's NHB closure has left some of us with a very interesting idea, and I'm sure you've all heard it by now

With an increasing amount of "off-topic" posts in NHB, the usual shade in NHB, and the increasing amount of personal insults in SYG, it appears that the line between NHB, SYG, and to a certain extent RT has been blurred.

The mods have cracked down, offering more rules (No more suicide jokes, no more off-topic in NHB, etc), yet ignoring the post obvious solution: Either merge SYG, NHB, and RT, or create a new thread (similar to Base's inception) that encompasses all three of these (perhaps with less moderation).

If we were to merge/create a new thread to serve all these purposes, we'd have our problems instantly shrink.

Mods wouldn't have to deal with constant help requests for NHB in SYG and vice versa

Mods could stop complaining about off-topic posts

Users would be able to post about a hot guy, insult a Keri stan, and bash the new Nicki Minaj single all in one post!

The only con I can think of is the uptick in post count, but even then I believe that the merged nature will be able to quickly curve our posting habits and allow us to be able to include our NHB insults and our SYG insults all in one single post (thus eliminating crowding two threads).

Anyway I'm done, so vote.

"No Holds Barred" and "Stand Your Ground." The former is for flaming members and the latter is for attacking celebrities you hate. As you might imagine, they're the two most popular threads on ATRL.

I'm not here for stanbases trying to drag each other's fave at one time, and than simulatenous you have a totally different group of people dragging a member. Too confusing and messy

Part of the reason most people argue in NHB is because someone said something about their favorites in a regular thread or one poster dislikes another poster because of one music artist.

The threads should still exist but there should be a new thread that has the same elements as SYG and NHB. Basically, it would be a thread where you could say whatever, do whatever, and think whatever without getting in trouble.
