It's going to be released in the fall; probably in November on the week of Black Friday. This year doesn't have too many big releases, all the big names have already released their albums.
If it's going to be an EP with a smash lead single, I don't see why not. What do you think?
(btw LoudR is just a rumored name for the re-release.)
I'm really hoping Mariah Carey will release her new album that weekend of Black Friday, she needs to get her #1 album, as she was cheated two years ago.
I doubt it will be an EP. Her label likely wants to contribute to Loud's sales instead. If there are no big releases, I can see her earning a #1 album, but I'm certain someone will take it from her. She just cannot achieve a #1 in the fall. It's not something that will happen for her.
Her albums have reached #10, #5, #2, #4, and #3. She was too unknown with her first two albums to earn a #1, while Good Girl Gone Bad came EXTREMELY close, and Rated R and Loud were released with too much competition.
I don't think so tbh, it will be only like more 3 songs so people will not buy it as soon as like it was a full album plus it will be released in the fall where there are only busy weeks, IDK but I'm pretty sure she will get it with her next album

1.) November is not fall.
2.) It's a re-release not EP
Loud is her best selling album EVER in the US.
GGGB was not even at 1.1 million a year after its release, and Loud should be around 1.5-1.7 mill a year later.
So, I'm guessing if GGGB:R sold 67k? first week in June, LoudR could do anywhere from 100k+ in the winter holiday season.
Thats for sure enough for a #1 spot. Her only competition will be the other releases. And I wouldnt be surprised if Set Fire to Rain will be smashing and Adele is STILL selling 100k a week.

hopefully she will get that number one album with the re release then
