Ok girls. It's no secret that Hold It Against Me is not meeting the expectations we all had for a member of the 'Trinity'. The song fits in with pop radio, its dancey, appeals to the typical pop radio listener, so the question is why is it performing so badly?
For example: It's iTunes positions around the world AFTER the video:
Quote:
#10 Sweden +7
#14 US -2
#13 Canada -2
#15 Spain -2
#16 Finland -6
#20 Belgium =
#23 France +2
#25 Mexico -5
#28 Ireland +1
#31 Australia -5
#31 Norway +3
#31 UK -2
#35 New Zealand +1
#36 Denmark +2
#43 Austria +3
#51 Germany +2
#52 Switzerland -3
#65 Japan +3
#67 Luxembourg -14
#83 Netherlands -10
#98 Italy +20
#175 Portugal -126
#357 Greece -267

But the question is, why is HIAM not doing good even with plenty of airplay, a highly anticipated and talked-about video, and lastly it's BRITNEY FREAKIN' SPEARS.
Discuss. And be nice.
