After spending four years studying biology and genetics, I would feel more comfortable eating food made from GMOs than without. I've learned how the modification works and how the GMOs go through far more testing than normal food. It's just frustrating that people who don't know anything about science have decided that GMOs are either bad for you, bad for the environment, or bad for any other reason.
The whole golden rice (rice that has been modified to contain important nutrients that are otherwise unavailable in some impoverished Asian populations) issue infuriates me because people literally go around burning the rice fields because they don't understand anything beyond the term "GMOs"
