Yeah! & everyone in my family is religious, they just aren't ignorant enough to judge someone based on that. Religion isn't the problem, is the way people interpret it to justify their prejudice.
As far as Christianity is concerned this isnt just a simple yes or no question. It depends on how you define "gay". If by gay you mean simple attraction to the same sex (something you cannot control), then yes somebody can be gay and be a Christian. However, if you define being gay as lusting after the same-sex and seeking sexual/romantic relationships with the same sex (all which require an action on your part) as being gay, then I'd argue that it would be very hard to be gay and be a Christian. It would be like trying to be a carnivore and a vegetarian.
Is there any religion in the world that doesn't condemn homosexuality? I just wonder. As far as I know, two largest religions (christian and Islam) don't approve homosexuality
