Every single year, tons of artists (weather they're new or not) release new music hoping they will get hits, sadly like every other year in 2010, we saw a lot of artists flopping, trying too hard but still flopped. WE KNOW WE ALL LOVE FLOPS and every once in a while every artist will visit flopville. So c'mon bitches Let's discuss who deserved to have success and who deserved to flop.
Xtina Aguilera: Oh our beloved Xtina... i really love this bitch and i reallly wanted her to prove all of us wrong and wanted her to do well. NMT was hawt, the video was not bad at all, yet the comparisons were all over the place, plus her attitude did not help her at all. Hopefully next year she'll release something worthy of becoming a hit.
Sky Ferreira: It makes me so sad to see how bad she flopped. Her music was so damm good, she can actually sing, shes pretty, has cute hair.....etc etc. One was pretty amazing and her debut single in the US seemed like a smash to me the first time I heard it. I reallly thought she was gonna be the next big caca. Sadly, the girl flopped hard, not only in the US but in the UK as well where One only managed to peak at 64. Who is to blame on this case???? poor marketing, bad promo???
Natalia Kills: Another case that makes me so upset. When i first heard Zombie earlier this year, I knew there was something special about this bitch. Then months later, Mirrors leaked and it just became better. 3 weeks ago she released the music video and I was like this bitch is amazing. Sadly, it failled to make any impact and the girl flopped so bad. here's hoping her label will do somthing because i see a lot of potential.
Ciara: Cici's case is probable the saddest IMO. Girl has it all. She has the attitude, the stage presence, the dance moves, the voice is ok, music is HAWT. When i first heard Speechless I was like damm gurl, this is hawt. Sadly, it seems like her label could careless bout her now.
Kelly rowland: Is too hard for me too see my bitch kelly flopping like there's no tomorrow. Every single song she tried to release in the US flopped hard. Last year when WLTO became a WW smash, I was like damm this gurl should stick to dance music and move to Europe completely. Gurl, did not take the chance and did not release The amazing commander in the US. Her dumbass label opted to release 2 slow songs that were good, but not as good to get her a hit. Stupid move, wasn't it??? We will see what next year has in stored for Ms. Kelly.
Kelis: this bitch is so underrated. Idk what to think bout her case, i blame her label.
Miley Cyrus: Fenix Cyrus debuted a new ****tier, edgier, dancier sound and image this year when she released her latest album "Can't be Tamed". Sadly, people were not impressed at all with this. Yes, the single peaked where at #9 in the US?? but it dropped like a rock in the following weeks . I wonder if she will ever have a huge hit once again???
Charice: this song was amazing, her voice is so beautiful and with Oprah backing her up i thought this had a chance, but it did not.
Robyn: One of my favorite songs of the year. It had moderate success overseas. They released it in the US but it flopped BAD.
Natasha Bedingfield: OMG this song is so damm cute. I love it so damm much and I love NB too. Is sad such a talented lady is beign completely ignored in the music scene this year.
Shontelle: Homegurl did amazing with Impossible but PN which IMO is betta than the other flopped so bad. It is sad because she deserved to have a HUGE hit with this song.
Kylie: As far as I know, this was only released to Hot AC radio. Still is was completely ignored. One of her best songs to date. It deserved to be successful at least in the UK but it did not do that well either.
Mariah Carey: Oh Mariah She released both angels cry and up out my face at the same time. None of them did well at all. Up out my face was hawt as hell, i really thought it was gonna do well at least on Urban radio.
V V Brown: This song sounded like a summer smash to me. I really thought this had a chance beacuse the song is perefect IMO.
Daisy Dares You: This song sounded like an UK instant smash. The girl was cute and has sense of style but it did not do good.
Heidi; Such a guilty pleasure to me. Enuff said.
Selena Gomez: After the huge success she had with Naturally, I really thought it was gonna be easy for selenita to have another hit afterwards. She released two songs this year, and none of them did well on pop radio.
Belinda: princess of latin pop Belinda released a new album back in march. But her label waited to release the MV of her first single 4 months after it was leaked and it did hurt her chart run. the album was hot and she had some good promo but it did not work at all. Her second single was released back in august and the mv is still being edited
Nadine: the voice, the diva of Girls Aloud. Oh Nuudeeennn! Why did u have to act like a bit biatch towards cheryl and the other ones?? Talkin about how good u are and how the other ones aint betta than u did not quite work for u. Plus, that tesco deal she signed Oh gawd could this get any worse??????
M.I.A. : well she does not even care if she flops rite??? Anyways, the song was hot and the remix with Jay Z made it even betta than the original. But homegurl flopped, she just flopped.
