Drake’s Views remains the number one on the Billboard Canadian Albums consumption chart for the fourth straight week, with 21,500 consumption units that mix weighted album and track sales with on-demand streams.
In terms of pure sales, Views sold another 8,000 units and picked up 15.2 million on-demand streams in the week, Sunday through Sunday.
Two albums debut in the top ten this week, led by Ariana Grande’s Dangerous Woman at #2 with 16,300 consumption units. The album generated 11,700 pure album and 19,000 track sales and over four-million audio on-demand streams.
All three of Grande's albums have peaked in the top two, following 2013 debut, Yours Truly, which reached the runner-up spot, and 2014’s No. 1 smash hit, My Everything.
Blake Shelton’s If I’m Honest lands in 3rd place with 9,200 consumption units, 7,600 album sales, 13,000 track sales and 500,000 audio on-demand streams. It matches his highest chart peak to date with the 2013 release of Based On A True Story.

im so ****ing tired of streaming. the fact she came through with sales, only to be blocked for people streaming (for reasons i still dont know why) Drake's album.... enough is enough.

The streaming rules and the subsequent blocks that have come from it are unfortunate but i believe will only be temporary. Sales are declining, so in 20 or 30 years streaming will become something else or possibly the sole way to consume new music.. No one knows for sure, but it makes sense for Billboard (not so much RIAA) to at least attempt to put one foot into the future.
