but heres the thing about me, i don't stan. Im a fan to a lot of artists and love to grow my music taste with new artists and being on this site helps that.

+1 tbh, and I don't even like Chris Brown.
For some reason that line about fondue always gets me. Like how did he come up with that?

Same, but I use that word synonymously with fan because I don't think it matters. My favourite is Avril, but I talk about stanning for others without actually considering the... "literal" meaning of the word. It just sounds better in caps lock than 'YOU BETTA FAN".

I like his music, im just not too fond of him
omg i don't know if its because i listen to a lot of female artists but everytime i listen to the song i sing "if i was your girlfriend" and i have to stop myself and say this is a boy singing this song not a girl

I don't use his music either, I don't like it very much I guess.
And DEAD I do the same.  Sometimes I sing along to Shayne Ward and then just automatically say "girlfriend" instead of "boyfriend" and then I have to stop myself and start over.

Almost done with going through the entries. I was primarily looking for a personal connection or a solid description of the songs themselves. Some of you did either or (or both) quite well, while others were lacking.
Like I said, though, I'm not done judging, so no hints...yet.

Okay, done and done. HINT TIME!
1) Some strong moments, but I feel that you let video clips do the talking for you a bit too much.
2) This had the makings of a REALLY strong entry, but a couple of faults dragged it down a bit.
3) This was an okay entry, but unspectacular. And unspectacular, at this point of the cycle, won't get it done.
4) Your entry wasn't what I was looking for, but I still wound up really enjoying it all the same.
5) The presentation could have been better, but I could really feel the passion in your words.
6) I see your entry not as a long entry, but as a strong reflection of the self.
7) Nice presentation, but some of the descriptions were a bit too similar.
8) I feel that you didn't express yourself too well, either in the description or in the presentation.
9) If all of your descriptions had been as good as a certain few of your descriptions, your entry would have been a top tier entry this episode.
10) Loved the strikingly simple presentation and how you described why the songs you chose were good ones.
11) The visual style that you chose and the impact of the words that you wrote really stuck out to me.
12) All of your descriptions incorporated at least ONE thing that I was looking for in every description. Solid.
13) I felt the personal connection, but I still feel as if you could have done a better job.
