Droping Luke doesn't mean Kesha is free. Far from that. She's screwed. Without Kemosabe being the link, Sony has nothing to do with Kesha, she's not directly signed to Sony.

As for Kesha, I'm even happier and prouder for and of her. If I'm not mistaken, Sony dropping Dr. Luke would effectively dissolve the contracts he has with his artists since his label is a sub-label under Sony, which means Kesha will still be signed to Sony but will no longer have any connection to Dr. Luke whatsoever.

Kemosabe is owned by Sony. If they drop Dr. Luke, odds are the artists under Kemosabe, which are also under Sony, will stay with Sony.

Basically Sony just wanted to get rid of the mess so he cut them both off but they're still tied together I think, so now there isn't really a middle man and she's just outright stuck with Luke tragic

Kesha can try to use the 7-year rule contract which isn't really not meant for recording artists but it basically means she has to settle with Dr. Luke and give him money for every undelivered albums.Who knows tbh.

No I don't think she is. Because even before Kemosabe existed, Kesha was (still is) signed through Luke's Prescription Songs company and Kasz Money Productions, his publishing company. It's really not that simple.
What you said could happen to Becky G, Juicy J, the artists that were signed when Kemosabe made a deal with Sony. It's not that easy with Kesha.

I hope you are right but Kesha had a contract with Luke like 4 years before the Sony contact so her contract is with Luke and Luke's company/label. I do think Sony is that powerful they could try to work something out I knew they wouldn't wanna be a part of this PR nightmare since most people blame them since they are the bigger company. Lets hope that if this is true is not them just washing their hands but try to help Kesha.. they might do that for financial reasons(they know ha comeback could be big) or to fix their reputation looking like heroes but it doesn't matter as long as they try to help her.

It seems like they're trying to kill two birds with one stone. They may tell Luke he can go and take all the artists on his label with him. This doesn't mean Kesha will be free. Her contract is still with Luke and if it was as simple as Sony snatching her contract from Luke, they probably would have done it by now.
