1. First of all, she's a known songwriter who writes songs about significant life experience that The interviewer asked her about inspiration of the song and she answered it honestly just like what she did with literally all of her songs.Who's to say she did it just to stir up a certain controversy when she does the same thing with all of her songs since day one?
2 & 3. Taylor didn't name the woman and she only talked about it once and refused to say anything about it in succeeding interviews which I think was a classy act and the usual Taylor attitude. If she have done otherwise you would have dragged her the same for "not getting over it" and "adding fuel to the fire" and where are the receipts you're talking about? Do you have a close relationship to either party to know FOR SURE what went down?
4. The song isn't even a specific drag and anyone who doesn't follow Tay and Perry wouldn't know that it's allegedly about the latter like y'all are making it out to be? And casting her close good friends in the music video because seriously WHY NOT??
