Her studio version of Chelsea Hotel #2 was released two years ago. I hope to god it's not an album full of unreleased songs.

NONE of the unreleased material will be on the album and rightfully so. I can't believe we are still having this conversation after the same ones during Ultraviolence. Will it ever stop?

She won't put a bunch of old songs in a new record, she wouldn't disrespect her fans like that

It's just that a lot of people are discussing her re-recording her unreleased and putting it on her record, otherwise why would she suddenly be performing it on her tour? This album is very quick, especially as there was 2 years between LDR and BTD and 2 and a half years between BTD and UV. A year doesn't give her that much time for new material.

Also, she re-recorded Yayo and Black Beauty. I don't see why she shouldn't re-record three unreleased songs for a new record, especially as she's performed Serial Killer and Us Against the World at nearly every date on the tour.

Probably none of them will make it. I also doubt that Lana would perform them without mentioning that it is inteneded to be on a new album.

Chelsea Hotel was a VEVO only thing. She said she wants Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood on the album, that she already has her interpretation of the song and that she likes the idea of closing her album with a jazz classic, just like with TOW on UV.
Why the hell should she put 2 covers on a new record? Or even 3 if you srsly include Do RIght? No serious recording artist does that.

She also said (I think that it was the same interview) that she is bored of playing the same songs on tour. She is using her old material to spice things up for herself without singing Body Electric and Million Dollar Man for the 1000th time.
Besides, she has already ditched all these songs besides SK and CH.

I also don't understand this mentality of some stans who desperately want unreleased material on her new album. It was the same last time around. Why the hell do some of you want these songs on a new album when we ALREADY HAVE THEM in HQ?

No, thank you for posting! All valid points. I don't understand the incessant NEED for unreleased music to be on albums too. Basically most of her best unreleased, we already have in HQ, so why not get new songs? Does having it officially released really mean SO much to you that youll sacrifice a completely new song for it? Stupid!
