She didn't cry about Iggy. She cried because ever since she was a child in school she has seen western society paint African Americans as second class citizens. In reference to Iggy, Hip hop was the one thing blacks had power over and now you have people like Mackelmore and Iggy not only stealing but being awarded for it. She was not acting like a 12 year old. She presents herself as a very intelligent and socially aware individual. And it's even more admirable given she's only 23 with such insight.

YOU have the real issues if you can't see WHY Iggy is part of a very serious cultural appropriation problem. It seems as if you're desensitized to it.
