The Distance Between Us by Sophie Ellis-Bextor

The Distance Between Us is the 6th track on Trip the Light Fantastic. This is Sophie's first elimination from her album, and to be honest I don't really remember what it sounds like! Seems like ATRL thought it was just an average track as well.

Scarlet Ribbons by Róisín Murphy
Average: 6.15
Scarlet Ribbons is the 11th song on Overpowered. It's also the closing track to the "standard" edition of the album. Most people found this song to be the worst on the album, including those who were big fans of the album as a whole. It was the first track in a while to receive a 1. Here's a fun fact about Roisin: an easy way to remember how to spell her name is spell out raisin, but change the a to an o!

3 Spoons of Suga by Sugababes
Average: 6.166666667
3 Spoons of Suga is the 10th track on Changes. The song is quite sassy and makes sense I guess (get it 3 spoons of sugar like there's 3 girls in the band and suga is part of Sugababes get it?). However, ATRL seemed to find this track to be quite average as well.

I have such a long history with these albums, so excuse me if I ramble ...
Also, can we start the tradition of which girl (at least for the two groups) owns the song?
Undignified - It took YEARS for me to see this as anything but AC fodder, particularly because Keisha dominates it. But now - maybe it's age - but it connects with me.
Surprise - In a perfect world, Change's single lineup: AYN/Never Gonna Dance Again/Denial/Surprise. Can we mention how Heidi KILLS it in the middle eight?
I'm Falling - So glad this is gone; if this and Damn had just been one long track, I would have lauded Xenomania for their audaciousness. As it is, it's just sloppy.

Change is the 5th track from Changes. It is the first title track out, and I believe it is the first single that is out. It reached #13 on the UK Singles Chart, just barely missing out on the top 10. I actually kinda like this song a little more now than when I first rated the songs, but oh well. The synths are quite nice in the opening.
